The principle

Correspondence from function, not lineage

Every correspondence in every tradition was built by someone reading a function. Iron protects because iron was the hardest thing anyone had. Salt preserves because it kept the meat through winter. Rue is for protection because it is bitter enough that animals refuse it. The mystical property is the physical property, observed carefully and carried into working practice by people who had no reason to separate the two.

These three volumes work from that principle. The rule holds across the set: if the working cannot be stated in terms of what the thing physically does, the entry does not exist. No borrowed mysticism, no pretending a thing is older than it is.

Three volumes

The Body as Map · 7 pages

Joint and region symbolism. The body keeps a record most people never learn to read. Each region in four parts: mechanical function, energetic association across Traditional Chinese Medicine and chakra-based systems, symbolic pattern, and manifestation link.

The Manufactured Archive · 17 pages

Function as correspondence. A staple makes a permanent join that damages both sheets and cannot be undone cleanly. A paper clip holds the same two sheets with no damage and slides off in a second. Those are different commitments. Most of this archive is already in your house.

The Shape Archive · 13 pages

Structure as correspondence. A triangle cannot be deformed without breaking one of its sides. Nobody decided the triangle was strong; it is strong, and the world was built around the fact. Twelve structural properties, each with its working question.

On scope: The Body as Map reads the body symbolically. Persistent pain, weight change, or appetite change goes to a physician first. Nothing here diagnoses and nothing here replaces care; it runs alongside it.

The Shape Archive sits alongside the Sacred Geometry Archive in Volume Six rather than replacing it — that holds what shapes have meant, this holds what shapes do.
